Emma started her working life in television, as a writer and script editor on some of Australia’s top rating shows, including an almost eight year stint on Blue Heelers. After having her daughter, she found the fake world of tv wasn’t as satisfying as it had been, and underwent a massive career switch that still makes some of her friends laugh hysterically.

She’s now a personal trainer, yoga teacher and life coach. As well as her daughter, the Divine Miss M, she has a dog and cat, and runs her own business.

Her working week is massively diverse, and ranges from teaching classes at her local neighbourhood house, to training personal clients, which include a Q.C., an AFL club executive, and one of Melbourne’s top tattoo artists. She also runs fitness classes from her daughter’s school, which have been dubbed “essential for survival” by some of the participants. Teaching spinning, yoga, boxing and children’s exercise are all on the agenda at least once a week.

The only thing Emma misses from her former life in the “glam” world of television is writing - so this site gives her the chance to combine her passion for fitness with wordsmithing - a match made in heaven!
