In fact I might even take the kids! I recently had an interesting discussion with someone who banned her children from watching the show. She thought the concepts were too adult and not really aimed at children. I think she missed the idea that a show can work on several levels- that while I may be laughing at one of Lisa's asides my son is laughing at Bart wiggling his behind.
